What to expect when you book with us.
What does a service call cost?
There's a call-out fee for a technician to come out and diagnose the problem. It covers the technician's time to find the problem and tell you what the repair will cost, with no hidden charges. After hours and on weekends the call-out fee is higher, because technicians are on overtime and many suppliers are closed. We'll tell you the fee when you book.
We can't give a full repair price until a technician has assessed it, because the same part can cost very different amounts for different furnace brands. Once we know the problem, we quote the repair before doing it. Our parts are flat-rate, so if the job takes longer than expected, you aren't charged more.
Why a time window and not an exact arrival time?
We book a two-hour arrival window and call you when we're on the way. Repair and diagnosis times vary from job to job, and we travel all over the city, so traffic, part pickups and a longer repair before yours can affect arrival. We always do our best to keep you updated.
Is my appointment booked when I send the form?
Not yet. Your request comes straight to our team, and we'll call you to confirm a time. If you have no heat or it's urgent, calling is fastest.
Do you give free quotes?
Yes. Quotes for a new furnace, air conditioner or water tank are free, with no pressure sales.
